Privacy Policy

Introduction

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any information you entrust to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle user information and clarifies our firm stance: we do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer personal information to third parties for their commercial use. There is no intention now, nor will there be in the future, to collect user information for the purpose of selling user data.

What we collect and why

Wherever possible we minimize data collection. If any personal or usage information is collected (for example, to provide a service you request or to comply with a legal obligation), it is collected only to the extent necessary to deliver that service or meet that obligation. Under no circumstances will we off-shore, sell, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for their marketing or resale purposes.

Retention and deletion (expiry period)

All user information we hold is retained only for the period required for the purpose it was collected (the "expiry period"). Once that expiry period has passed we permanently discard or anonymize the data in a manner consistent with applicable law and reasonable security practices.

For free non-login users, information is retained only for a short operational period, typically sufficient to deliver the requested service, and is discarded soon after completion. For logged-in free users, limited information may be retained for a longer period in order to provide account continuity, preferences, or history, but it will still be discarded within a defined expiry period consistent with this policy. Specific expiry durations may be displayed at the point of data collection or within account settings, and we adhere strictly to those limits.

No sale or offshoring

We make this explicit: none of the users' information will be sold or offshored to third parties. We will not package, bundle, or market your data to third parties, nor will we transfer it to jurisdictions for the purpose of avoiding the protections described here. Our default practice is local, purpose-limited handling and prompt disposal at expiry.

Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect user information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. While no system can be guaranteed 100% secure, we regularly review our security practices and update them as appropriate.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date. Where changes are material and affect previously collected data, we will provide notice through the service or by other means as appropriate.
